Avoid confusing activity with productivity

Many family caregivers believe that maintaining an overcrowded day and to-do-list will keep their productivity up. As in many professions, this strategic error can lead to exhaustion and low-to-no productivity. Our hearts often encourage us to try to exceed our own physical and rational limits. We can’t keep depleting ourselves without paying a cost in some other area. It’s four days until the launch of my new book, The Rational Caregiver, on January 18, 2024. This book can help you begin to strategize your way out of caregiver burden. Watch this space for a link on Thursday.
